DID YOU KNOW THESE FACTS?

I SURE DIDNT TILL NOW

Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death!

Make a personal reflection about this.....

Very interesting, read until the end.....

It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):

'Be not deceived; God is not mocked:

for whatsoever a man sow,

that shall he also reap.

Here are some men and women

who mocked God :

John Lennon (Singer):

Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said:

'Christianity will end, it will disappear.

I do not have to argue about

that. I am certain.

Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him' (1966).

Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil ):

During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.

Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.

Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):

During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ),

while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said:'God, that's for you.'

He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner.

The man who built the Titanic

After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be.

With an ironic tone he said:

'Not even God can sink it'

The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic

Marilyn Monroe (Actress)

She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show.

He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her.

After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said:

'I don't need your Jesus'.

A week later, she was found dead in her apartment

Bon Scott (Singer)

The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:

'Don't stop me; I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell'.

On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.

Campinas (IN 2005)

In Campinas , Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend.....

The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car:

'My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You.'

She responded: 'Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here..... It's Already Full '

Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died,

the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact.

The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken

Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer)

said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written.

In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus.

Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive.

'Jesus'

I have done my part, Jesus said

'If you are embarrassed about me,

I will also be embarrassed about you before my father.'

I'M TOLD THIS WORKS!!!!! Bishop T.D. Jakes '8 Second Prayer.' Just repeat this prayer and see how God moves!!

'Lord, I love you and I need you, come into my heart, and bless me, my family, my home, and my friends, in Jesus' name. Amen.'

When things in your life seem almost too much too
handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough,
remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had
some items in front of him.

When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very
large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill
it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the
jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and
poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the
golf balls. He then asked the students again if the
jar was full they agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured
it into the jar . Of course, the sand filled up
everything else. He asked once more if the jar was
full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from
under the table and poured the entire contents into
the jar, effectively filling the empty space between
the sand. The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
"I want you to recognize that this jar represents
your life. The golf balls are the important things-
your God, family, your children, your health, your
friends, and your favorite passions--things that if
everything else was lost and only they remained your
life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your
job, your house, and your car.

The sand is everything else -- the small stuff.

If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued,
"there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life. If you spend all your time
and energy on the small stuff, you will never have
room for the things that are important to you.

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your
happiness. Play with your children. Take time to
Get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner.
Play another 18. There will always be time to clean
the house and fix the disposal."

Take care of the golf balls first -- the things that
really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just
sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what
the coffee represented.

The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just
goes to show you that no matter how full your life may
seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of
coffee with a friend."

Please share this with someone you care about.

I JUST DID

KINDNESS IS GRACE YOU CANNOT FULLY GIVE AWAY, IT ALWAYS COMES BACK TO YOU. GOD BLESS YOU ALL !

An unemployed graduate woke up one morning and checked his pocket. All he had left was $10. He decided to use it to buy food and then wait for death as he was too proud to go begging. He was frustrated as he could find no job, and nobody was ready to help him.

He bought food and as he sat down to eat, an old man and two little children came along and asked him to help them with food as they had not eaten for almost a week. He looked at them. They were so lean that he could see their bones coming out. Their eyes had gone into the socket.

With the last bit of compassion he had, he gave them the food. The old man and children prayed that God would bless and prosper him and then gave him a very old coin.

The young graduate said to them "you need the prayer more than I do".

With no money, no job, no food, the young graduate went under the bridge to rest and wait for death. As he was about to sleep, he saw an old newspaper on the ground. He picked it up, and suddenly he saw an advertisement for people with old coins to come to a certain address. He decided to go there with the old coin the old man gave him. On getting to the place, he gave the proprietor the coin. The proprietor screamed, brought out a big book and showed the young graduate a photograph. This same old coin was worth 3 million dollars.

The young graduate was overjoyed and went in search of the old man and little children. By the time he got to where he left them eating, they had gone. He asked the owner of the canteen if he knew them. He said no but they left a note for you. He quickly opened the note thinking it would lead him to find them.

This is what the note said: "You gave us your all and God have rewarded you back with the coin"

Have you given all to God?

If you haven't, do so today and he will surprise you.

Before calling technical service and paying for "help," take a look at your computer yourself. A little common sense may help you solve simple hardware and software problems.

     Instructions:

        Things You'll Need:

     - Computer Tool Kits

   1. Restart the computer. Many software problems will correct themselves when you do.

   2. Check your cables. Keyboard not working? Make sure it's plugged in. Mouse not responding? Make sure it's plugged in.

   3. Check the electric power. Plug a lamp into the same power outlet that's connected to your computer to make sure the outlet is working.

   4. Make sure the computer and monitor are plugged in.

   5. Disconnect peripheral devices (such as a printer or external Zip disk) and restart the computer.

   6. Listen for unusual sounds. Is the cooling fan running? Is the hard drive making noises?

   7. Look inside the computer for wires that aren't plugged in all the way or other faulty connections.

   8. Start the computer from an external start-up disk, such as the system software CD that came with your computer.

** useful ang reviewers pero keep in mind, hindi ito ang actual exams.. IT'S JUST A GUIDE OF WHAT TYPE OF EXAMS YOU'LL EXPECT.

** at least two weeks before, start reviewing...

GOOD LUCK! PRAY HARD!!!

this is also good, its an unlimited source BUT you need to be sensitive on this because

--> not all online exams can be directly applicable our to local CSE

--> tons of exams type in the net, you have less chance of finding similar type of tests.. not all persons are gud on searching for this..

--> if you can manage to spend money and stay online for a couple of hours, why don't you just buy a CSC book/reviewer instead.. try CSC reviewer from BUSTO and MSA at National Bookstore, or other similar reviewers.. ( tipid ka pa sa kuryente  )

--> reviewers help a lot... it's not a leak or actual exams but the great help is to familiarize you what type of exams you'll expect

Kasi minsan you don't have to read the whole article. Pampaubos oras lang yun.

here are some tips.

1. wag magmadali take your time usually kasi sa multiple choice halos magkakapareho ang choices mo kaya you have to take time to think.

2. review mo yung basic math like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimal, polynomials etc. dito yung mga sagot halos magkakapareho kaya ingat.

3. grammar review mo yung 8 parts of speech, parts of a sentence tapos yung vocabulary.

4. naku review ka din ng Filipino. dito ko nahirapan.

5. yung mga laws and social studies just use your common sense.

Now, for those who did not meet the passing rate of 80% in the Career Service Examination, there is a facility in the CSC called Report of Rating (RoR) just in case you want to know your score and what field you failed. It is available on line.

First, we have to know why there is a Civil Service exam. Civic service exams are implemented in various countries as a way to achieve an effective, rational public administration on a merit system. CS exams are conducted to establish a register of eligibles from which certification and appointment to the second and first level positions in the Civil Service shall be made, provided said eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements of the positions.

The ten planets that rule in the world of astrology are the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

These planets are the factors and guides that we look upon in order to know the contents of the astrology charts. The horoscopes, zodiac signs and birth charts are all given significance and meaning by the astrology planets namely the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Each of these is a symbol of strength and weakness of an individual. It has a great connection with one's social life, future and personality. All planets from the Sun till Saturn are inner planets that denote one's personal traits. On the other hand, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are the astrological planets that rules over who one will be in the bigger picture.

Sun

The ruler of Leo is the Sun. It is the source of life and is also the center of the solar system. It stands for one's individuality and fundamental energy. The Sun embodies our mindful, enthusiastic life force, our concentration in our vision in life, and the persona we are striving to be in the long run. It is the focal point of our potential and distinctiveness as a human being. When we abide to our heart's desire, we are acknowledging this planet.

Moon

The ruler of Cancer is the Moon. It symbolizes the sentiments and emotional state of a person. This is our feeling nature. It is mainly a female energy which is linked to the past and to our family roots. We honor and salute the Moon when we care for others as we care for ourselves.

Mercury

The ruler of Gemini and Virgo is Mercury. It denotes the brain and one's opinion and thinking. Mercury, otherwise known as the Trickster or Winged Messenger, focuses on the mind. It is our brainpower and intellectual outlook. It thinks, communicates, observes, sees, and hears, what is significant to us.

Venus

The ruler of Taurus and Libra is Venus. Venus stands for love and charm or attraction. It also symbolizes creativity. Venus is the astrological planet that implies temptation, attractiveness, art, harmony, poise and treatment. This also includes your social skills and your ability to attract other people. Another thing is it suggests how you are with money.

Mars

The ruler of Aries and Scorpio is Mars. This planet is a symbol of desire and determination. The red planet gives us the passion and energy to go for what we really want and need so as to make things happen. But when it is not placed in the right spot, Mars may denote rage, accidents, and harm.

Jupiter

The ruler of Sagittarius is Jupiter. Its meanings are faith and good fortune. Jupiter is one of the social planets which has longer orbits and denotes our social life. This is the planet of luck. It also signifies one's drive to explore and grow to learn and acquire more opportunities and freedom too. When it is in good light, Jupiter leads to success, recognition and long distance trips. But on the other hand, you could be lazy when its light doesn't shine your way. Jupiter also governs over faith and belief.

Saturn

The ruler of Capricorn is Saturn. Obligation and limitation are its focal concerns. This is also a social planet same as Jupiter. It is the slowest among the inner planets and it provides us with the lessons we get in out encounters. It symbolizes restrictions, safety and inhibition. We are considered as an adult by the age of 29 because by this time, Saturn has made its way through the rest of the Zodiac signs.

Uranus

The ruler of Aquarius is Uranus. This outer planet focuses on one's eccentricity and development. This is the planet of sudden changes that usually cost traditions to be swerved aside. It results to rebelliousness, rapid change of thoughts, disturbances to the society and simply makes one upset. But Uranus also rules over creativity, innovation and distinctness.

Neptune

The ruler of Pisces is Neptune. It denotes vagueness and fantasies. This outer planet brings misconception, misunderstanding and trickery. This is linked to our imaginings and sacred enlightenment. Neptune governs the upheavals in this world. On the good side, Neptune governs over visionaries and people who are opulent and oozing with charisma. On the darker side, it symbolizes aspiring thoughts and wishes and daydreaming.

Pluto

The ruler of Scorpio is Pluto. Supremacy and renovation are its central theme. This outer planet is known to be the place of intense change in being. This planet is somehow like Pandora's Box but it may also contain hidden qualities that will regenerate and rebirth and not destroy. Bad occurrences start the rule of Pluto but when exercised as to control, the outcomes are often on the bright side and can cause good change.

All these are just a guide that will aid us in our daily lives. They serve as signs that will lead you on the right path. Now, it is up to you to believe it.

Are you a computer user? Have you heard of windows registry? Do you have any idea about this?

In this article I will try to give you an overview of windows registry and its structure and basic of editing and maintaining the registry.

In computing, Windows Registry was defined as a database that is used to hoards configuration settings and option for Microsoft Windows. It include settings and information for all software, hardware, and users of the computer like kernel, user interface and device drivers. Therefore any modification made by the user whether in control panel or system policies, everything can be seen in your registry.

The first Windows Registry was introduced in Windows 3.1. During that time, the main purpose of Windows Registry was to hoard all information for the COM based components. With Windows 95 and NT, registry was used to organize the INI files which had been used to hoard all configuration of the operating system.

Each file in the registry is stored according on the version of your Windows operating system. For example in Windows 95 and 98 registry was contained in two hidden files in the directory, these are the System.dat and User.dat. For Windows ME, Classes.dat was added.

Let us know the registry deeper, know its structure.

The Windows Registry has its hierarchical structure like the one of Windows Explorer. Each section of the registry is called hive, named by API definitions commonly starts with "HKEY". Each hive contains two elements. These are the keys and values.

Let us define it further.

Hives are generally named by their Windows API definitions, which all begin "HKEY". They are abbreviated to a three- or four-letter short name starting with "HK" (e.g. HKCU and HKLM).

When you say registry keys, it is almost the same to a folder. Each key has its own subkeys.

Here are six root keys in Microsoft Windows:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT - It contains all the information or file to support Windows short-cut and other basic feature of Windows user interface like drag and drop.

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER - It is connected to HKEY_USERS and contains all information on log-on, and settings of Start menu and desktop.

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - It contains information on the software, hardware and even other preferences of the computer - that is used by all computer users.

• HKEY_USERS - It contain preferences for each computer user using SID.

• HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG - It is linked to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE that is used for hardware configuration.

• HKEY_DYN_DATA - It is linked to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, commonly used for Plug-&-Play features of Windows. This branch was said to be dynamic.

On the other hand, Registry Values are also called subkeys. It is the real information hoard in the Registry. In general, there are three types of value: DWORD, String and Binary that was used based on its content. The name of Value contains backslashes that makes it hard for the users to distinguish its key.

Now, let us try to edit your computers registry.

Regedit.exe, a registry editor is included in Windows but you cannot see it visually on the Start Menu. To start or launch the editor, select RUN from the Start menu, type regedit and press Enter key from the keyboard.

Let me remind you that is highly recommended that you back first the registry before performing any modification.

When you are inside the regedit, you can modify the value accordingly. Also, you can change the name of any value as if you are renaming a file.

If in case, you committed an error, load your back-up registry setting.
